Layken Tua’s cancer treatment

Kia ora whānau, friends, and kind-hearted strangers,
We’re rallying behind our beloved 20-year-old son, brother, mokopuna (grandchild), teammate, and friend – a proud Kiwi now living in Perth, Australia – who has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Testicular Cancer.
A fierce rugby player with a heart as big as his smile, he's known for his strength on the field and his kindness off it. Layken joined the Nedlands Rugby Club when he arrived in Perth February 2024 and remains a committed member of our community. Now, he’s facing the toughest challenge of his life. Despite the diagnosis, his spirit remains unbreakable, and his courage continues to inspire everyone around him.
We’re reaching out to ask for your awhi (support) during this time. Donations will help ease the financial burden of treatment, travel, and time away from work – allowing him and his whānau to focus fully on healing and hope.
Every koha (donation), share, and message means the world. Thank you for walking alongside him on this journey.
Arohanui.
