Laying Rob to Rest, Support to his elderly mother

Donation protected
UPDATE- New Funeral Date 6/8/25
Thank you for considering us for support.
Unfortunately, my Son lost his father in sudden circumstances this week.
He was only 48.
Robert was a kind, caring and considerate man, and to lose him so suddenly is a massive shock to us as a family, and also to the wider community.
Nobody is impacted more, than Robert’s elderly mother, who, is not only dealing with the heartache of losing her beloved son, but also her full time carer.
Robert was his Mother’s carer, and Iris depends on round the clock care.
She is 85, house and bed bound, and is unable to walk, as a side effect of her many illnesses.
Iris and Robert were very very close, and to see her so distraught at her time of life is truly heartbreaking.
Needless to say, the fear Iris feels, as she was totally dependent on Robert.
We are doing this fundraiser, to try to relieve Iris of some of the financial burden for the cost of Robert’s last journey.
We have now set a date for Rob’s send off, which is Wednesday 6th August, and we would love to make this happen so that Iris can spend her time grieving her son, planning the funeral she really wants for him, and not worrying about finances.
Through no fault of her own, Iris has suffered a massive financial crisis and has many outstanding repairs on her home, that are also a massive burden to her, but serious enough to need tending to ASAP.
No parent should have to bury their child, and at 85 to lose your son and your dependable person, is not something anyone would expect to endure at this time of life.
We are asking for donations towards Robert’s journey but also to help us get Iris house repaired, so she can stay in the home she loves with the people she loves rallying round to help her.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you for any donation you make, however small or great.
It’s hard watching her so worried and distressed.
in addition to this, any fund that may be left over, we would like to buy Iris a suitable wheelchair, preferably electric.
We have approached the necessary services, but we fear the support may not be put in place in time for Robert’s last journey, and we would like to ensure she is comfortable as possible, so she can send her boy on his way.

Thank you so so much for taking time to read our plight, and thank you in advance for any contribution you can make.

Thank You Thank You Thank You
