It is hard to find the right words when our family has already been pushed past their absolute limits, only to be struck by another devastating tragedy.

We are reaching out with a desperate plea for help. Unexpectedly and far too soon, the Effler family has lost their sweet mother, Pam Effler. To make an already unbearable situation even more heartbreaking, she had no life insurance, or savings for a rainy day. The responsibility of laying her to rest has fallen on a family that is already drowning in grief, medical trauma, and financial devastation.

A mother watching her child suffer:

Pams' daughter, Ashley Effler, spends her days and sleepless nights in hospital rooms, holding her child Madisons' hand, while watching her endure agonizing treatments for brain cancer. Her heart is already shattered into a million pieces.

A brother fighting for his own life:

Pams' son, Matt Effler is not only mourning the recent loss of his father-in-law, but he is currently undergoing treatment for his own cancer diagnosis. He is already fighting for his health while trying to hold his family together.

And now, a mother gone: Before we could even catch our breath or process the existing grief, our anchor was taken from us. We are left with raw, bleeding hearts and the crushing reality of funeral bills we simply cannot pay.
