Laying Antera to Rest in Her Homeland

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved Antera Espinoza Lopez. A woman of unwavering strength, kindness, and faith who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Antera raised generations with love, patience, and wisdom. She made everyone feel welcome and deeply cared for. She deeply loved her family, her cooking brought everyone together, and her stories reminded us where we came from.

Her final wish was to be laid to rest in her homeland, Mexico. Honoring this wish means arranging for her transport and burial from North Carolina, which involves significant costs. As a family, we are doing everything we can to make this possible, we are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your help to fulfill the wish of someone who gave her all for her family. Any amount you give, large or small, will help us take her home.

Con profundo pesar, compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra querida Antera Espinoza López. Una mujer de inquebrantable fortaleza, bondad y fe, que marcó la vida de quienes la conocieron. Antera crio a generaciones con amor, paciencia y sabiduría. Hizo que todos se sintieran bienvenidos y profundamente cuidados. Amaba profundamente a su familia, sus comidas unían a todos y sus historias nos recordaban nuestros orígenes.

Su último deseo fue ser enterrada en su tierra natal, México. Honrar este deseo implica organizar su transporte y entierro desde Carolina del Norte, lo cual implica costos significativos. Como familia, estamos haciendo todo lo posible para que esto sea posible; con humildad, les pedimos su ayuda para cumplir el deseo de alguien que lo dio todo por su familia.
