As many of you know, my baby girl was born on New Year’s Day with something called CDH. CDH is a rare hernia that develops in the diaphragm and pushes all the stomach contents into the chest. She had her hernia repaired, and a few days later began bleeding, and it all went downhill from there. She was on ECMO two times as well as dialysis. She began to lose circulation to her fingers and toes and had seizures. They were able to stop them with the help of medication. Time went by, and just when we thought she might be okay, dialysis stopped working, and she had to be taken off. Because she wasn’t on dialysis and her kidneys were not working, she began to retain fluid. This caused her lungs to be filled with fluid again and for her to go into kidney failure.

Monday the 10th will be her last day here, at which time her ventilator will be taken off along with her medication keeping her alive. All I’m asking for is help to get her down to Douglas and get her laid to rest with her great grandma, who she was named after. Anything helps, thank you.
