Laying Damond Armstrong To Rest

As many of you know, Damond passed away Friday night, April 15. Damond was diagnosed with kidney disease (FSGS) when he was only 11 years old. This put him through so many difficult obstacles in his short 29 years of life, enduring many physically and emotionally painful complications during his long fight with kidney failure that he did not deserve to go through. But as many of you remember, he stayed positive and happy to live his life through it all. Keeping in mind the strong fight Damond fought for all these years, we find comfort in knowing that he’s not in pain anymore. He was able to pass surrounded with love, with all four of his siblings and his parents holding his hand. We would like to give Damond a beautiful burial, to be able to say goodbye one last time.
