On November 6th 2019 Brayden Boyce took his last breath this side of heaven. Brayden was the happiest boy. Even throughout every hospital stay, Doctors visit, or even simply getting X-rays Brayden always laughed and smiled threw it. Brayden was born on September 17th, 2009 with a heart condition (aortic Valve stenosis) and would later need open heart surgery to correct this; however god had other plans. Brayden was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy before his first birthday causing him to to not be able to sit up, hold his head up, walk, etc. Brayden had a few other disabilities as well, seizures, Trachea Malaysia (he was on a G/J tune nothing by mouth) which would lead to a lot of hospital stints with aspiration pneumonia. Around age 5, Brayden was no longer a candidate for open heart surgery due to his CP. Even if he survived the surgery they where afraid he pass during recovery. God blessed us with 5 more years with our boy until his heart started giving up. He was tired of the treatments, the hospital stays, and his heart just couldn’t handle much more. In June of 2019 we put him on hospice at home. The last month has been hard. His bowels shut down, and he couldn’t keep anything down. Last week we (with directions from his drs and hospice) decided to stop all treatments and feeds. On November 6th 2019 he left his earthly home to be with Jesus and his MiMi.
Due to Brayden being so young and being born with the disabilities he has, we where not prepared for this finically. We have set money aside but it still isn’t enough. Whatever you can give will be more than enough. We thank you all for your prayers and your condolences. We appreciate it more than you know.
Love,
Braydens Mom ❤️
