This comes with great sadness and heavy hearts to announce, On January 9th, 2021 a beautiful life has come to an end. Antoine Cunningham, 51, of Wilkes-Barre, lost his battle with cancer and has been called home.
In October of 2019 Antoine's fight began when he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells. Antoine left this earth the same way he lived it, full of smiles, hope, faith, and love. Especially the love he had for his life partner of 12 years, Pam Johnson. Their love was like no other, they were made for each other. Not a day went by that she wasn't by his side, through good times and bad, happy and sad, she was his rock and he was hers. Antoine was truly one of a kind, a Father, a Son, a Brother, and a friend to all.
Though words won't be able to take away this sorrow, we can try to ease the burden and support Pam as she tries to navigate through this difficult time. I'm asking for donations to help cover the costs, the costs associated with his end of life care, the funeral, a memorial, and future expenses. The funds would go directly to her, any and all donations would be greatly appreciated and helpful.
Antoine's genuine kindness, love and dedication to his family will forever live with those who knew him. He was truly a kind man, who wanted nothing more than to make people happy.
