Layeton's Family Needs Help After Fire Loss
Donation protected
On New Year’s Day, tragedy struck my family when their home was engulfed in a devastating fire. Thankfully, my dad managed to escape just in time, but my family lost all their belongings, including cherished keepsakes and irreplaceable memories.
Stephanie and Will are now faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from scratch as well as the cost of demolition and cleanup. Stephanie, my mom, and my 15-year-old sister, Layeton, a high school freshman, are struggling to regain a sense of normalcy. I have watched my mom give everything she has to people my whole life, whether her blanket to the homeless or meals to strangers. I have watched my dad drive 80 miles round trip multiple times during a snowstorm to bring and refill a generator for an elderly lady when the snowstorm took out her power. I hope we can all give back to them in a time of need.
We are reaching out to our community, friends, and compassionate individuals for support. Your generous donations will assist my family in replacing all items and beginning the process of rebuilding their home. You really never know how much you have to replace until you are rebuilding from scratch.
How You Can Help:
• Donate: Any amount, big or small, will make a significant impact on my family’s journey to recovery.
• Share: Please share this fundraiser with your network and church to help spread the word and reach more potential supporters.
We are profoundly grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this challenging time. Your kindness brings them hope and strength as they work towards rebuilding their lives. My parents would offer the shirts off their backs, even right now, and I hope to show them others will help support them too.
