This is Laycee. She is the sweetest 3 year old girl that has given her mommy and daddy a whole new meaning to life. Her mommy Brandy works as a nurse at a local doctors office. Steven her daddy is currently stationed in North Carolina serving in the United States Marine Corps. Laycee touches everyones heart around her, but she needs help fixing hers. Laycee was born with tricuspid atresia, her right ventricle never developed as well as her AV valve is unable to close. In Laycee's little life she has already been through five open heart surgeries to correct the tricuspid atresia ,but unfortunetly the valve was not successfully fixed. It has now caused a bigger issue and Laycee's heart muscles are weak causing her to need a transplant. She is currrently waiting on the list as of yesterday for a donor. When that phone call comes they will need to get her to the hospital immediatley to undergo the heart transplant. Even though Laycee cant keep up like other children Laycee has never let any of this get in the way of having a normal life. Laycee and her family need some help . Laycee will atleast need 4-6 weeks to recover in hospital care. Then she has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Brandy will be out of work aleast 6 months and Steven will be back and fourth from North Carolina. Any donations would be very helpful but the family needs as much prayers as they can get. During this journey please pray god will keep laycees heart pumping while they wait patiently for a strong heart for this little fighter.
