OUR FAMILY NEEDS YOUR HELP

I never imagined I would have to write these words about my own daughter.

On Sunday, August 30th, my beautiful daughter Shanyia and my son-in-law Malik were tragically taken from us in a senseless act of violence. ️

As Shanyia’s mother, there are no words for the pain of having to bury your child. And as a mother watching her baby girl, Melody, lose BOTH of her parents far too soon… my heart is completely broken.

Right now, our family is trying to come together to give Shanyia and Malik the proper funeral and burial they deserve, while also making sure baby Melody is surrounded by the love, care, and support she will need.

We are asking our family, friends, community, and anyone whose heart this touches to please help us reach our $20,000 goal.
