Lay Robert Lynch to rest
Donation protected
Hello all,
I start this fundraiser solely because my family are the last people who would reach out a hand for help when needed. However, it is a strength to recognize when you have done all you could and it’s time to ask others to step in. On July 6th, 2022, our dear Robert Lynch passed away after a long battle with health issues. Robert was a healer, a teacher, and a radically-kind individual. He served decades as an educator and Librarian at The Ohio State University, organized in his community, and changed countless lives for the better along the way. He married Naima Fadli, who came to Ohio from Morocco and the two raised 3 triplet children to become engaged, caring, and thoughtful adults following their lead.
In 2018, Robert’s health took a turn for the worst, and he entered hospice care. As the true fighter he has always been, Robert beat the odds and survived for years after he was only given a few months to live.
Naima took very great care of her husband, round the clock, sacrificing her rest, comfort, free time, and in some cases health to care for her husband. And in this unfortunate reality, It has cost thousands and thousands of dollars to provide her husband the care he needed for those years.
Naima is the most selfless person one would ever meet. Consistently strong, diligent, and endlessly fighting for the people she loves. (Which is truly all people)
we would love for financial constraints not to be another worry for our mother, Naima. After the passing of her beloved husband, she deserves the break she needs. To lay her husband to rest, come home to a clean and comfortable environment, and hopefully, soon, to return to visit her family in Morocco whom she hasn’t seen for years while caring for her husband.
This is why we are starting this fundraiser. Please consider helping our mother Naima out, as she would help you.
