I’m raising funds for my brother, Richard Hernandez, after our family’s sudden and heartbreaking loss. Richard’s life was taken in an act of violence shortly after midnight on November 4, 2026, and we are devastated as we try to process what has happened.

Richard was a beloved son, brother, father, and uncle. He loved his family deeply, and above all, he loved his son Gabriel more than anything. Our mother is now facing the unimaginable pain of losing her son, and all of us are grieving a loss that came far too soon.

At the same time that we are mourning Richard, we are also facing the financial burden of arranging the funeral and burial he deserves. We urgently need to secure a funeral home so Richard can be retrieved from the medical examiner and we can begin the arrangements to bring him home and lay him to rest.

All donations will go toward Richard’s funeral, burial, and related expenses. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden on our family during this painful time.
