On Tuesday November 6th 2018, our father, James Higgins, was tragically taken from us by a senseless hit and run. He was a community activist, social worker, and justice seeker. He was passionate about healing the urban youth community and worked diligently to do just that. We were not/are not prepared for his death.
Our fearless father and head of our tribe is gone... This heartbreak is unreal...
We have had many people ask, "What can I do to help?"
Right now all of your thoughts and prayers are truly more than enough! As we prepare to depart with the man that has forever been in our corner; a man of true integrity and strength far beyond ANY of our expectations; the kindest, most gentle, and intelligent man that we have ever known; we ask that you simply honor his name by doing good works for the youth that he was so passionate about. Additionally, we ask for short stories of how you met our father, and the impact he has had in your life. All donations are much appreciated.
