Hi,

On June 8th, we took our dad to the hospital for an ulcer rupture. He was put on a ventilator and stayed at Berger Hospital for 4 days, then was sent to Riverside where they took him off the ventilator, but he had to be put back on it. We all thought everything was going to be okay, but his lungs weren't strong enough or working properly. We were told on Thursday that there was nothing they could do. His wishes were to come home. We brought him home on Saturday to be with all his family where he wanted to be. On June 26th at 4:38 am, he took his last breath. He was so strong and fought so hard. Tomorrow, June 27th, is his birthday, so happy birthday. Unfortunately, he didn't have any savings or anything set up, so we need help laying him to rest.
