Lay Ayla to rest

Ayla Marie Medina born February 11, 2024. She surprised us all with her early entrance into this world at just 31 weeks. She was eager to meet her mommy, daddy, and big sister. We all knew that she had some obstacles to overcome and she was ready to fight. One of the obstacles she had to overcome was open heart surgery. Ayla required this procedure to begin her road to recovery. Surgery took place Friday, March 29. Everything went beautifully. Everyday mom and dad would get news of how well she was doing. Unfortunately, she took a turn for the worse and declined rapidly. The doctors and nurses worked for over 3 hours to try and save her life. God called her home today April 3, 2024. Please say a prayer for my sister Brooke, Alex, and her family to help them get through the days ahead. Ayla was here on this earth for such a short time but in that time she was loved already so much and had a great impact on us all. She was a fighter, a warrior, and now an angel.
