Lay Andre Payne to Rest with Dignity

Hi, my name is Dorian Hill, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family to honor the life of my little brother, Andre Payne, who passed away unexpectedly while in DOC custody due to health issues on August 3, 2025.

Andre was charismatic, thoughtful, funny, and always had love for the people close to him. Despite his personal battles, he had a big heart and deep respect for others. His passing has left our family, like many families, unprepared, in deep grief, and without the resources to provide a proper service.

After speaking with a few different Funeral Directors, we’ve learned that a traditional burial will cost anywhere from $5,000 to $7,000. These are real numbers, and this GoFundMe is to help us reach that goal.
