Alejandra Rojas was such a beautiful & giving young woman who worked hard to support herself and her family back home in Mexico. She was always kind to everyone around her and was always a helping hand to her family and friends. Unfortunately, She slowly started to notice physical pain that became unbearable. She was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis, but still fought to remain strong and continue working part time to remain financially stable. After many hospital visits and steroids to treat her illness, she ended up back in the hospital with major complications. Once she arrived to the hospital, after being rushed in an ambulance, doctors explained that her organs were failing. She started to have other complications, including Meningitis. Ale ended up needing a blood transfusion, but unfortunately she did not resist much longer and passed February 26th. Her mother and father live in Mexico and had been trying to come see her with a humanitarian emergency visa, but due to legal complications they were still not able to cross the border in time to see their daughter alive and are still currently in Mexico with the hope of seeing their daughter one last time.  My family and I are raising money so that her immediate family and friends can lay her to rest in her hometown. We would appreciate any help so our family can afford to transfer her body to Mexico and lay her to rest surrounded by all of her loved ones back home. If we do not raise enough money, My aunt will have no choice but to take the more affordable route, which will be cremation, but we really hope she won't have to do that, since everyone would like a chance to see her and say their last goodbyes. Please help us give Ale the funeral and memorial she so deserves. Thank you in advanced to anyone who can help us.
