Noma Lax Supporters! As you all know, a well-fueled athlete plays better than one playing on an empty stomach!
Many of you have expressed an interest in helping the Noma Lacrosse Foundation (Club's booster organization) help our players on the field this season.
Our boosters have identified two areas of need - team meals on the road trips and a new league mandated shot clock expense.
The MCAL mandates a club provide two shot clocks for all home games. The total cost for those two clocks is $950.
We estimate that with trips to Neveda, San Luis Obispo, and San Diego this season, there will be 9 total team meals.
We tend to book hotels with breakfast included. The boys are on their own for lunch each day. But on each road trip, we like to build team unity by sharing dinner together as a team. Typically, at $10-$12 per head, that would be a $3800-$4600 cost for the season.
Please, give what you can afford. We realize lacrosse is an expensive endeavor and if you have a son on the club, you've already paid dues.
Those dues only support league necessities like fields, gear, uniforms, refs, league fees, etc.
So, if you can, take this opportunity to step up and help Noma Lax this season.
Give what you can afford. Here are some suggested levels -
* $25 - Every little bit helps.
* $100 - Sponsor one player's road meals this season
* $200 - Sponsor two players' meals.
* $500 - Sponsor an entire meal for on of the away games
* $1,000 - Sponsor the Shot Clocks (if this is you, let us know, the clocks will carry your name on them as sponsor)
Any and all donations can help. Donations at the $200 and above level will include a mention of your generosity in our game day broadcasts as well as your choice of a Noma Lax Tshirt or hat.
Even if you can't afford to give, please share this fundraiser with friends and family of Noma Lacrosse. If you can afford to give, we appreciate any and all amounts.
