Help Support Callie’s Legal Battle Against Hate

Hi, my name is Callie.

In June, my quiet country life was shattered when I began receiving death threats via fake emails. The nightmare continued in November when the person behind these threats began driving past my home, watching me. Then, on the International Trans Day of Remembrance, this person took things even further by slashing the tires on both me and my partner's cars. Their intent was clear: to demobilize and scare us.

What’s even more terrifying is that this person targeted me simply because I am a Trans Woman.

On December 19th, I had the opportunity to finally see the person responsible when I went to court to apply for a Personal Violence Order (PVO). I felt a sense of relief just by knowing who this person was. But the situation is far from over. This individual has contested the PVO, which means I now face additional legal costs, including hiring a lawyer to fight for my safety and rights.

I am reaching out for your support—not only for myself, but for every Trans Woman who has ever faced hate or violence simply because of who we are. This is about standing together and showing the world that we will not be intimidated or silenced by bullies.
