Lawyer payments

Hi, my name is Teesa Johnson. I have an extremely blessed life. My family is amazing, and I grew up in a nice and stable environment. Unfortunately, that's not the life that a lot of our youth has these days. When I was five years old, I met my best friend Jennifer for the first time. It was an instant connection. I knew that I could always count on her and vice versa. We were partners in crime, practically inseparable, well until we hit 7th grade anyway. That was the year of experimentation for her. The drugs seemed to swallow her up entirely. Luckily for me, I figured we are still young and it was something she would shake off in the near future........I WAS WRONG.
She has a beautiful son, my Godson, who I just think the world of. Although she moved to the city, he would come and stay with us every summer, every holiday, every birthday, and any extra days off from school. Between his Grandma, my mom, my brother, and myself (and a ton of my other family members), we purchase all of his Christmas presents, birthday presents and the birthday parties, school supplies, etc.
Unfortunately jenn has not successfully completed rehab. She has been in and out of jail, leaves him at school, and had him living in the poorest of conditions. No running water, electricity, no working fridge. In January 2016, he was removed from that filthy place she calls home, with a man she's accused of doing unspeakable things to her child on three different occasions. With her extensive drug history she isn't going to go against me in court, so she summons this man to fight me for guardian ship. I've spent thousands of dollars on lawyers for both him and myself. At this point they are just filing motions just to delay things. As of right now, I still owe another 2500 dollars, and to go to trial will be another 1500 minimum to start off with.
I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping and praying that I can pull this off......he deserves better. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Happy holidays!
