In or about June 22. of 2019, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that a state takings claim can be filed with federal courts on behalf of NY residents. The SCOTUS ruling means that we can petition federal courts that were not available to us before, bypassing State courts. This ruling can be extrapolated to leasing for gas and other minerals.
