Our dear Lawrence Aldo Pierce was taken suddenly from us on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021. He was a father, a son, a brother, a friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
I'm Aja Pierce, Larry's only child. Larry was my incredible father and the legendary grandfather to his only grandchild Wilder. I am still shocked and devastated over the sudden passing of my father but appreciate the support that I have felt from the community who knew and loved him.
This campaign has been created as a place for messages and donations to be left. If you would like to donate, you may click the donate button and give whatever you can. Alternatively, if you are not able to donate please feel free to leave a message or your favorite memory of Larry for me and his family to read.
There has been unexpected costs related to his passing including travel expenses and costs associated with taking time off of work as I get his affairs in order. Any additional funds beyond this will be placed into a college fund for his Grandson, Wilder.
Funeral plans are still being arranged and have proven especially difficult due to COVID19 restrictions but we will be having a small celebration of life at his favorite place, The Beetle at 2532 W. Chicago Ave, Chicago IL Saturday 2/6/21 from 2-4 if you wish to come and pay your respects. The numbers are strictly limited and a maximum of 25 people may be indoors at any one time so we ask that when you finish your visit, you rotate out to allow others to come in. There will be a heated tent outside if there proves to be a wait when you arrive.
