As you know, Lawrence Melton (Jackson’s dad) was helping with chains at that rainy home game a few weeks ago. He had a terrible accident and has had a rough time ever since. His tibia and fibula of his right lower leg were fractured into the ankle joint, which is called a pilon fracture. His first surgery consisted of placing an external fixator to hold the unstable bones of the leg together so that swelling could come down to allow for a second surgery to piece the bones back together. Many ambulance trips, multiple doctors and lots of nerve pain. Julie, Lawrence and the kids have been appreciative of the meals we’ve provided. The Meltons are very involved in HHCA and always willing to help in any way. Let’s pull together as a school family and help them out.
