Help Us Give Our Dad the Farewell He Deserves
Our beloved dad recently passed away after a series of heartbreaking and sudden medical events. A few months ago, he underwent a leg amputation, and just this past Wednesday at 2pm, he was rushed to the hospital with a perforated gallbladder. The infection quickly turned septic, and despite doctors’ efforts, his organs began to shut down. He passed away the very next day at 7:05pm.
He leaves behind not only older children but two young boys who he raised on his own as a single father with full custody. He was our protector, our guide, and our biggest supporter.
Because everything happened so suddenly, he didn’t have any funeral insurance in place. I’m doing everything I can to honor his final wishes, but I am struggling. I have young children of my own, and I live on a disability pension due to epilepsy, which makes it impossible for me to work right now.
The one thing my dad ever asked for was to be laid to rest next to his brother in Wangaratta. We spoke about this before his leg amputation and I promised him I would do everything I could to make it happen if it came to that but we both knew it wouldn’t as it was only an amputation, little did we know this would of happened just a few months after, That’s why I’m here, asking for your help.
If you are in a position to donate — no matter how small — or even just share this page, it would mean the world to me and my family. Every little bit brings us closer to giving him the dignified farewell he deserves.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for your kindness during such a difficult time.
With gratitude,
LJ
