The Lawrence Extended Day Program (LEDP) has been supporting Lawrence School students and families for over 40 years. During these many years, the after school program has provided the students of the Lawrence community a safe, fun place to learn and play with their peers as well as contributing to their social and emotional needs.
The LEDP staff is amazing and extremely qualified. The team has several teachers and administrators that have been committed to the children and families of Lawrence between 10 and 30 years. The staff depend on their employment at LEDP for their livelihood and health insurance. During the past year due to the pandemic, we have had to make very difficult decisions in furloughing and laying off many of our valued team members.
During these trying and uncertain times, LEDP has worked tirelessly to enable the program to safely open the doors, but with limited staffing. We also have had to open with smaller numbers of students and less tuition being collected by the program. This has caused serious financial strain on the program.
LEDP now needs your help.
In order to keep the program consistent in the lives of children and in the Lawrence community, we are asking you to open your hearts during this giving season and make a donation and share this link to enable the program and the staff to continue providing quality after school support and to continue filling their hearts with the joy of working collaboratively with the LEDP/Lawrence families.
