Flood Relief (Wes & Ally Lawhon)
Donation protected
Heavy rains drenched parts of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi this weekend, causing dangerous floods that killed at least four people, cut off an entire town, shut down highways and prompted numerous rescues.
My Cousin Wesley Lawhon and his wife Ally Lawhon are in the middle of this horrific flooding. The picture shown here is their home on Saturday and the water is still rising. All of their belongings are floating about. The flooding happened so quickly they were only able to take a few articles of clothing and some essentials with them as they evacuated to safety.
So many of the Lawhon's friends and family have asked how they can help , so I have set up this page to organize a way to help Wesley and Ally as they persevere through this trying time.
Funds will be used for furniture, clothing, and essentials. All of the money raised here will be withdrawn from this campaign by Wesley and Ally. Any extra funds leftover will be donated back to the Baton Rouge community in this time of need.
