Help Law Student's Battle with TMJ Pain

Hello all. I am 23 years old and I have very bad TMJ due to medical malpractice. This occurred after wisdom tooth removal and the doctor was extremely aggressive with me and dislocated my jaw. I have been in chronic pain for a year now. I have terrible pain talking and eating, migraines, shooting ear pain, popping jaws, and just overall discomfort in my everyday life. There’s never a moment of peace. I don’t leave my room or talk to people because it genuinely hurts. I’ve had to stop going to school and I am a law student, so you can only imagine how I worry about my career and if I’ll even have that career anymore with this disability. I’ve done conservative methods like steroid shots, physical therapy, prp injections,and many different medications.TMJ doctors don’t like to take insurance. Right now, my only option to get out of pain is surgery. I am looking to get arthroscopy surgery, which is a keyhole surgery that they do to examine the joint with a scope camera and make repairs. The cost of surgery is around 7k out of pocket. I am in debilitating pain and I am kindly asking for help. If any of you feel my struggle and know what I’m going through or just want to lend a helping hand, it would be greatly appreciated. As I’m all out of money due to already spending so much on treatments that have done nothing for me. These funds would go towards travel expenses and the cost of surgery. This would change my quality of life. I suffer every single day and have lost over 40 pounds from the pain of not being able to eat.
