On April 21, 2021, Chris and Elizabeth Law and their 6-month-old daughter, Eevie, tragically lost their home, all their belongings and three precious fur babies in a house fire at Dutton, Alabama. Due to a lack of homeowner's insurance, everything was a complete loss and the family must rebuild their lives. Though the pain of losing their home and loving pets will be with them forever, we hope to help them rebuild their lives through community support. Elizabeth is a lifelong resident of Jackson County, and this family has built their life here for the last 12 years.  Elizabeth is employed at the Jackson County Sentinel as the editor for Jackson Magazine, and Chris works at Builders Supply in Scottsboro.  The family is hoping to raise enough money for a downpayment on a mobile home.
