My mom, LaVonna Doell, has had cancer 4 times.
Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma - Survivor
Breast Cancer - Survivor
and Colon Cancer - Survior
She recently was diagonsed a second time with colon cancel that has metastisized to her liver and has become stage 4. Without chemotherapy, they have given her 6 months to live. With the chemo treatments, she can extend her life to 2 years and possibly even more.
Last month she lost her Medi-Cal coverage and now has to pay for a secondary supplemental insurance to cover her chemo costs, along with many other unexpected costs associated with medication and dental expenses (due to previous cancer and deteriation in her mouth) that aren't covered by insurance. In order to minimize the financial stress and for her to remain strong enough to fight, I thought relieving her financial burden would help her to stay focused on staying alive.
If you can help in any way possible, our family and my mom would be greatful beyond measure. We praise God for the life He has given Mom so far and hope and pray that He will bless us and our children with many more years together. Thank you and God bless you.
