LAVENIA'S JOURNEY - MARIE'S BIG HAIR CUT

**Help Lavenia & Her Family While Supporting Ronald McDonald House!**

We invite you to join us in a heartwarming fundraising effort to support two incredible causes. Lavenia, a brave young girl fighting leukemia, and her family have been on a challenging journey. Throughout this time, Ronald McDonald House Queensland has been a lifeline, providing them with a place to stay while Lavenia undergoes treatment in Brisbane.

Now, Lavenia’s mother, Marie Burki, is taking an inspiring step to raise funds by cutting her long, waist-length hair—a gesture of love and hope for her daughter and others in need. This is prompted from Lavenia now having lost all of her hair from her chemo treatment, and inspired by a large number of family members shaving their hair for Lavenia!

Half of the funds raised will go directly to the Ronald McDonald House Charity, helping other families like Marie's who are facing similar challenges. The other half will go to Lavenia’s family, assisting with the ongoing travel expenses for her treatments.
