Lavender Towse was a dedicated Cross-Country and Track athlete throughout their brief life. They were a fierce competitor who embraced both the physical and mental rigors of competition and training. While we mourn their passing, we welcome you to the Lavender Towse Distance Classic to celebrate the joy they got from running and to raise funds for the Trevor Project, a nationally recognized organization doing the important work of preventing suicide amongst young LGBTQ people.

“If you can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds worth of distance run, your's is the Earth and everything in it…"–Rudyard Kipling.
