Laurin Hughey Memorial Trust
After this devastating tragedy, we have banded together to support the Hugheys as they somehow try to move forward.
Laurin was such an amazing person, and so loved, that we have faith and believe that somehow, some way, with all of us supporting the Hugheys, this family will make it through this trying time. So many people have been shocked and saddened by this loss, and have asked, how can I help? What can I do? Well, we are going to do something tangible to help them, because we love the Hughey Family; because we loved, and always will cherish, Laurin.
We have set up the Laurin Hughey Memorial Trust, a total community effort to aid the Hughey Family and to honor Laurin's memory. By design, the Trust will, in the short term, address the family's bills and expenses likely to accumulate as a result of this tragedy, and insure that the only home the children have ever known will always be theirs. In the long term, the trust will support the creation of formal college education plans for Will, Emma, and Jackson.
