This page was created out of love for our mom, Laurin DeStefano (aka Capri, Coach D, Nona, etc.). Whatever name you know her by, we're confident she's made a positive impact in your life!
As many of you know, she was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC), an aggressive form of breast cancer, in mid-August. Her medical team strongly recommended starting chemotherapy immediately. Her treatment started on October 8th and will continue into March 2021.
These funds will be used to help pay for her ongoing medical care and associated costs as her work at the YMCA as come to a halt. We are extremely grateful and appreciate every single prayer, kind word and donation sent her way!

**In the spirit of giving... for every $5,000 raised, we will donate two chemo care packages to a local cancer patient through Dallas-based Handled With Care (www.handledwithcare.org). Melanie, the owner, has graciously agreed to match our donation and send two additional boxes out!**
