My name is Laurie, and I unexpectedly lost my mother last night. The light of my life. I just recently lost my father in January, and now I am here picking up the pieces half a year later with losing my rock.

My mom wasn’t sick. I didn’t see this coming. She suffered from internal bleeding in her stomach after getting a bout of constipation. This turned to acid in her blood, and it quickly went to her kidneys and caused them to fail. This all happened so quickly, in just a few days.
