Laurie's Memorial: Help us give a proper send off
Laurie loved with a heart of gold. She gave everything to others, without asking for anything in return. As a mother of 4 children, and many grandchildren, she was took care of everyone else before herself. She was loud, opinionated, and stubborn, but this is what made her beautiful. She never hesitated with speaking her mind. She would light up any room she walked into. Her love for Jesus was shown by her generosity, compassion, and commitment to others.
Laurie faced many challenges in life. From losing her husband unexpectedly, to rapid decline in her health, to then losing her home and being forced to give up her loving cat Tracy, she was constantly climbing an uphill battle.
While we are sad Laurie has passed onto the next step of her journey with Jesus, we find comfort in the fact that she is at enternal peace and rest. She is no longer suffering or in pain.
However, because of the hardships she faced and the unexpected nature of her passing, funds to properly honor her are minimal. We are asking for donations to help lay her to rest, and finally give back to the woman that gave everything of herself.
If you would like to attend the services, you are more than welcome.
