Laurie’s Battle Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
*UPDATE 2!* My mom has completed her first round of chemotherapy, so 5 months left! Thank you all for your continued generosity!
*UPDATE!* My mom has completed all of her radiation treatments and now we are waiting for her chemotherapy treatment to start! Thank you all so much for the continuous prayers & donations, it means the absolute world to all of us!
As many of you may or may not know, my mom, Laurie (Dell) Moulton, was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. This past November she was rushed to the hospital after having a seizure and after scans the doctors found a very large brain tumor in the left lobe of her brain. In December she had surgery to remove the tumor, but unfortunately the doctors were not able to remove it all. After further testing, she was diagnosed with grade 3 brain cancer and has been fighting every day since. If anyone knows my mom, you know she is a loving and caring mother, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, friend, who would go above and beyond for anyone in her path. My mom is always known to put others before herself and help out anyone she can. Now, it’s time for us to show that love and appreciation back for everything she has done for us. My mom is starting radiation treatment soon that will be 5 days a week for 6 weeks. After she goes through radiation she will go through chemotherapy. For the rest of her life she will need scans on her brain every 4 months as the tumor/cancer will continue to grow back. As we all know, medicals bills can be very expensive and I want to alleviate that stress off of her as much as I can! Thank you all for your continued love and support through these hard times!!!
