Our dear friend, Laurie Russell, has Chiari Malformation, a malformation of the brain that causes terrible headaches and many other complications.  Laurie and Todd are amazing parents to 4 beautiful children ages 4 to 14. Their strong faith and love of God is an example to all of us!
  Laurie and Todd decided to have brain surgery done in New York with one of the most well renown neurosurgeon for Chiari on January 26th. Todd and Laurie headed home a week later yet pain has continued and increased, including a trip to the ER. After consulting with the Neurosurgeon she was medi flighted today (February 10) back to NY due to some complications.
This will be a long process and there is a lot of unknowns. Along with this, there will be a lot of unexpected and unknown expenses including medical expenses, but also hotel in NY, food, travel, care for their 4 kids at home, etc. We want Todd and Laurie not to have to worry about the finances as they get Laurie back to health.
I ask not only friends and family of the Russell's, but others who have been effected by Chiari to be as generous as possible to lift this burden from Laurie and Todd. I also ask for your continued prayers for the whole Russell Family. This has carried them this far and I know will guide them to full health for Laurie.
