Laurie Quigley's Hope For Healing

Laurie and Lynne, the twins, always inseparable, yet now further apart than imagineable. Laurie was found unresponsive Saturday, April 8th, and rushed to the hospital. A coma took her away. Doctors said it was a combination of prescriptions for a fractured wrist and diabetes that put her there. It was a painful 8 days not knowing if she woud wake up, hiding inside that broken body of hers.
She did open her eyes and move around, on the day before Jessica's birthday. We lost Jessica, Laurie's oldest daughter, a few years ago and she would have been 33 on April 16th, 2017. Her three other children, Tanya Rhea, Ryan Hinze, and Michelle Hinze are heartbroken and can't imagine life without her and becoming the best grandma ever for their sons and daughters.
Laurie is now in Memphis TN at St. Francis long term accute care. She is still on a feeding tube, since she is not fully awake. The longer she stays this way, the chances of her brain becoming more active are slim. So the goal is to bring Laurie back to us by providing therapy, physcial contact, talking to her, and just to be a constant reminder that she is a fighter and can overcome this. When she becomes fully awake, she will need to relearn many things, swallow, talk, walk, etc.
These funds will help with medical costs, travel costs for family members to be there by her side, and future nursing home care. We believe with the combination of doctors, family, friends, faith, positive energy, and your contributions, we will have our beautiful sister/daughter/mom back. To laugh with, to cry with, to hold, to fully enjoy our days on this earth as family.
