Season 2025/26 is Laurie's 10th season with Largs Thistle, he's approaching 300 appearances for the club. Laurie spent time at youth level with St Mirren and Rangers, and 5 years at Raith Rovers before suffering a serious knee injury. Rovers loss became Largs Thistle's gain when he signed, becoming a key senior member of the squad and vice-captain.

To set the ball rolling for his Testimonial I'm setting a challenge for myself. During early September I plan to walk along Hadrians Wall pathway, 84 miles in 6 days. I'm told that I'll likely do an additional 10 miles to get to and from B&Bs. I've never attempted anything like this before so please wish me luck, any donations to the Testimonial fund will be gratefully received.
