In memory of Laurie Ann Schedler

Our hearts are heavy as we share the news of the sudden passing of our beloved Friend, Sister, Cousin, and Aunt Laurie. She was a remarkable woman who lived life to the fullest, always wearing a smile and extending a helping hand to anyone in need. Sadly, Laurie lived alone and didn't have a will or any savings to cover the costs of her final arrangements.

Laurie's generosity and kindness were unparalleled. She gave so much to others, often putting their needs before her own. Now, it's our turn to come together and honour her memory in the most meaningful way possible. We want to give her the beautiful celebration of life that she truly deserves.

We're reaching out to friends, family, and anyone whose life was touched by Laurie's boundless compassion. Your contributions will make it possible for us to give her a heartfelt farewell, surrounded by the people who loved her most. Whether you knew her for years or just moments, Laurie had a way of making everyone feel valued and cherished.

In line with her selfless nature, any surplus funds collected will be donated to the Huntington's Society of Canada. This is a cause that was close to Laurie's heart, and we believe that continuing to support it in her memory would be a fitting tribute.

Please join us in celebrating the life of Laurie on Friday, September 8th, at the Preston Event Centre.

The celebration will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm .

The centre is located at, 523 St. Anthony St., Ottawa. Parking on site.

Non alcohol refreshments and selected appetizers will be provided as well as a cash bar.
