Laurie and Wyatt Need Your Help

Hello, my name is Laurie and this is not something I’ve ever done before. Asking for help is really hard for me. My cat Wyatt is in need of surgery to have stones removed before he becomes blocked and needs emergency surgery. My situation has prevented me from providing this surgery as my finances are unable to pay for this $700 surgery. I’ve had 3 part-time jobs, 1 since 2020 and 2 others since June 2024. Unfortunately, the last 2 have come to an end and the first one I am no longer physically able to do. My credit cards have been maxed out due to dwindling income from these jobs and being the caregiver to 3 family members when I moved to El Paso to take care of them and working outside of the home while taking care of them was too difficult. I’m searching for other work, but nothing as of yet.

Wyatt is a 13-ish year old male that I rescued from a pet resort I had worked at. He was brought into the resort by a homeless woman and he was very sick with a respiratory issue. After a month or two, it became clear the owner was not able to pay for his care. I adopted him and nursed him back to health. That was 10-11 years ago. Now I’m the one in a pickle and asking for any financial help to prevent an emergency surgery.
