Help Support Lauren’s Fight — Standing with Vicki and Her Family
Lauren refuses to let cancer define her story.
Instead, she has chosen a different word for this season of life: Victorious.
Many of you know Vicki, who has faithfully served as the office manager at James Family Chiropractic which is now Foundation Family Chiropractic for 20 years. She is the kind of person who shows up for everyone else without hesitation — offering kindness, support, and encouragement to those around her every single day.
Today, Vicki and her family need our support.
Her daughter Lauren was recently diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer (triple negative ductal carcinoma). Around the same time, Lauren also learned she was pregnant — news that brought both excitement and uncertainty as she faced the early stages of this diagnosis.
In the midst of processing the cancer diagnosis, Lauren also experienced the heartbreaking loss of her pregnancy.
Lauren is an incredibly strong and private person. She carries herself with quiet strength and grace, rarely letting others see the weight she carries. But those who know her best know that she also has a deeply compassionate heart and an unwavering faith.
Over the years, that faith has only deepened. Her love for Jesus and her trust in God’s plan have inspired those around her — including her own family.
Despite this difficult diagnosis, Lauren refuses to let cancer define her. Instead, she has chosen a different word to describe her journey:
Victorious.
Lauren hopes to pursue as much of her healing journey as possible through holistic and integrative approaches, alongside the medical care she needs. Unfortunately, many of these treatments and supportive therapies are not covered by insurance and can create significant financial strain.
This GoFundMe is being set up to help support Lauren through her treatment journey and to allow Vicki to be present for her daughter without the overwhelming burden of financial stress.
Funds raised will help cover things such as:
Medical expenses and treatments
Holistic and supportive therapies
Travel for care if needed
Daily living expenses during treatment and recovery
If you feel led, we invite you to support in two ways:
1. Prayer. Lauren and her family believe deeply in the power of prayer.
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
— 1 John 5:14–15
2. Financial support. Any amount, big or small, will help lighten the load during this incredibly difficult time.
Most importantly, we ask that you keep Lauren and her family lifted up with encouragement, positivity, and faith as she walks this journey with courage and strength.
Thank you for standing with Vicki, Lauren, and their family.
