Lauren suffered a T-9 complete spinal cord injury from a car accident in 2015. This life changing injury is followed by a long journey of physical therapy to relearn how to walk and to keep the body healthy. The intense physical therapy required for SCI’s is unfortunately not covered by insurance so it is hard to continue consistently without assistance.
