My name is Lauren Greeley, and I am raising money to purchase an OrCam reader. 

I have lost a significant amount of my vision due to diabetic retinopathy and retinal edema. My left eye is completely blind, and my right eye is considered legally blind. I have been able to get some assistive technology for some work functions and daily living, but I have not been able to get assistive technology for reading text.

The device I am raising money for would help me read text from books, devices and small prints I am not able to read on my own. This is especially helpful with my type one diabetes management and my job as an educator.
