Lauren’s NYYS Greece Tour 2024

Hello, my name is Lauren! I am in my third year of college at the Mannes School of Music studying violin performance. Over this past semester, I got into a profound orchestra program that won the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Orchestral Performance: the New York Youth Symphony. Never in a million years would I have thought to ever be accepted. Since then, I have been given opportunities like playing at Carnegie Hall, the United Palace, and hopefully, a chance to travel Greece with the symphony. It has been such a wonderful experience so far and it would be amazing to tour Greece and perform beautiful music this summer with my fellow colleagues. Anything would be much appreciated!
