Lauren's Dream: An Italian Celebration

My name is Lauren Trejo, and I am a senior who has faced countless challenges throughout my high school years. I attend an all-girls school, a unique environment that has shaped me into the extroverted and resilient person I am today. Despite my struggles, I’ve discovered my passion for pursuing a law degree—a path I believe will allow me to make a meaningful impact on the world. As a Christian, my faith has been a guiding light during difficult times, helping me stay hopeful and determined to overcome obstacles. Despite these obstacles, I have worked hard to keep moving forward, drawing strength from my faith, my family of 4, and my aspirations to make a difference in the world through law.

As I prepare to graduate, one dream has become especially meaningful: the opportunity to travel to Italy in 2025. This trip represents more than just a vacation; it’s a chance to explore the rich history and culture that has always inspired me, a reward for years of perseverance, and a way to celebrate my upcoming milestone. Unfortunately, I have overdue payments for this trip and I have no way of paying this on my own. My mother has paid little by little, extending payments, risking what I have already paid to be cancelled. My family’s financial struggles make covering this amount on my own impossible, and though I hesitate to ask for help, I have decided to start a fundraiser to make this dream a reality.

This trip would be my graduation gift, a symbol of everything I have worked toward and overcome. Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and bring me closer to making this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible.
