Hey guys, As most of you know my name is Lauren, I’m just a mom of 4 beautiful children who doesn’t really bother anyone or ask for much, but what only a few people know about me is that I was recently diagnosed this past March with Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC), also known as infiltrating ductal carcinoma, which is a type of breast cancer that starts in the milk ducts of the breast and moves into nearby tissue. In time, IDC may spread (metastasize) through the lymph nodes or bloodstream to other areas of the body. Currently I am lucky to caught this early enough that doctors can treat me quickly and accordingly but there are some costs that are not covered by my insurance and I am being vulnerable enough to put myself out there and ask for any little bit to help keep my hope and dignity through this challenging time.
This has been extremely shocking & humbling all at the same time & I feel extremely appreciative of all the love and support I’ve gotten through family and friends since my diagnosis, and believe I will come out stronger with all the support by my side. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for your consideration #HELPSAVETHETATAS
