A few months ago, I was informed that I have a large fibroid in my uterus and endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition that starts in the uterus but spreads to other organs and causes several painful symptoms. After weighing all my options by seeing two specialists, doing tons of research, and talking with folks who have gone through this, I have decided that my best option is to get a hysterectomy. Getting the surgery will allow me to avoid continued and increasing pain and discomfort and avoid needing a second surgery in the future. As the doctors have said, it will give me the best quality of life out of all available options.

It's major surgery, and the healing process will be two months, during which I will be unable to work. Unfortunately, as some of you may know- life and medical expenses are not cheap!

In order to cover the cost of this procedure and pay for my living expenses (rent, food, etc.) while I am down for the count, I am reaching out to everyone for help in this time of need. My surgery is on April 6th, and I am looking to raise funds for when these bills come in, and I am out of work. The estimated amount I'll be needing is up to $6,000. Any little bit helps and is deeply appreciated.
