Lauren Walker Shepard Tabor’s Medical Expenses

Last Friday, April 2, Lauren, my cousin,  your family member, friend, coworker,  former classmate,  partner in mischief, was involved in a horrific car accident. Many of you have read updates on Facebook about the severity of her injuries, including head, neck and leg injuries. She is in critical condition and is hospitalized in Nashville.  This week she will undergo several of many operations.  Before this accident, Lauren was undergoing chemotherapy  for lung cancer.  Several years before, she was diagnosed and recovering from colon cancer. She has had a very rough time over the last five years. Before her second cancer diagnosis, Lauren retired and was enjoying opening a restaurant, Frank’s BBQ, with her husband, Frank, a dream that came true after a lot of hard work.
